Built in full logs and natural materials, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a traditional grass roof that anchors it in the landscape, the lodge is the warm centre of the Lakita experience. Accessible only by tracked vehicle in winter, it feels remote by design yet deeply welcoming by nature.
At its heart is a generous gathering room with a stately fireplace, a long dining table, a bar, and panoramic views over endless boreal forest towards the mountains. With only two suites, the atmosphere remains personal and serene — from shared dinners and evening drinks by the fire to quiet games in the living room. Just outside, the husky park keeps our dogs close to the rhythm of the lodge.
The two 57 sqm suites are designed as a private haven within the lodge — spacious, warm and deeply restful after days spent outdoors. The layout offers both comfort and privacy, with separate spaces for adults and children, a welcoming living room centred around a wood-burning stove, and a generous bathroom designed for slowing down. It is a refined Lapland retreat made for families, couples, and quiet moments between adventures.
After days spent outdoors, the wellness area offers a gentle return to warmth. Inside the lodge, the swimming spa combines still water, massage jets and wide views onto the surrounding nature, while just outside, the wood-fired sauna invites a quiet ritual composed of heat, silence and the pure air of Lapland.
For deeper restoration, a dedicated treatment room offers massages at an additional cost.
