Before opening Lakita Lodge, we created Faraway Lapland Adventures as a first expression of the experience we wanted to build: private, all-inclusive stays shaped around dogs, guiding, food, care and the beauty of Swedish Lapland. The accommodation was simpler than the lodge we are now creating, but the heart of the concept was already there — delivered in the same area, with the same dogs, the same landscapes, and many of the trails that will become part of the Lakita experience. The season confirmed what we had hoped for: guests left deeply moved, full of memories, and eager to come back. Their words now form part of Lakita’s foundation — a reminder that beyond the buildings, the real value of the stay lies in how it makes people feel.
